Networker

Terms

The short, fair version.

Who we are

Networker (“we”, “us”) lets you share a digital card, capture the people you meet and follow up with them, on the web and in the Networker app for iPhone and Android. These terms apply when you create an account or use Networker. If you only shared your details on someone’s card, our privacy policy is the part that matters to you.

Your account

You sign in with a link or code sent to your email, so keep that inbox secure. You must be at least 16 to use Networker. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for the information you put on your card.

The people in your contact list

Contacts you add yourself, or who share their details with you, are yours to manage. Use them to follow up on real conversations. Do not use Networker to send bulk marketing, spam or messages people have not asked for, and respect a request to stop contacting someone. Where privacy laws apply to you (for example GDPR or CCPA), you are responsible for how you use the contacts you hold.

What you must not do

Do not impersonate anyone, publish a card that is misleading or unlawful, try to access other people’s data, overload or probe the service, scrape it, or use it to collect details from people who do not know who they are sharing with. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your content

You own what you put into Networker: your card, your notes and your contacts. You give us permission to store and display it only as needed to run the service for you, such as showing your card to people who scan it. You can export everything and delete your account at any time from Settings.

Emails and notifications from us

We send sign-in emails when you ask for them, and a daily follow-up email on days when someone is waiting on you. In the app we can also send notifications: follow-up reminders, a weekly summary and card activity. You can turn each of these off in Settings, and the emails from the link in any of them.

The service

Networker is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, and features may change. Drafted messages are suggestions: read them before you send. We may end the service with reasonable notice, and you will be able to export your data first.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost business or opportunities, arising from your use of Networker. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

The app stores

If you got the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, their terms also apply to your download, and Apple and Google are not responsible for Networker or for supporting it. These terms are between you and us.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before the change applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA. Questions: hello@getnetworker.app.
